Maths goal

Know everyday fractions and percentages in everyday use

I did well with the speed of my answers

I also did well with knowing percentages with 100 (its just how much you got right) 

I need to work on my tenths fractions and elevenths fractions and twelves fractions

Maths Goal

Use multiplication facts to solve problems by doubling and halving.

I think that i do well with knowing what to divide and what to times eg. you cant half 5 and you can half six because it is an even number and five is a odd.

I also think i do well with showing my working for all 10 equations

I need to work on my basic knowledge like 6x 7x 4x 8x.

Success criteria:

• Use four turns using fractions or angles e.g. ¾ turn or 90 degree turn
• Use compass directions only e.g. north, north east
• Use feet as a measurement e.g. move 4 feet north

We used coordinates to get to the chocolate. We had to use the success criteria.

Math Week

Math week 

For math week we were able to have different rotations to normal We got to choose 4 out of 8 options to do

The options were:

1) symmetrical draw so you We were asked to copy the picture                                using the squares provided

2) Building kaiapoi when we are asked to build kaiapoi with                                 the blocks provided

3) Chalk when you draw a shape with chalk 

                           

4) Scavenger hunt when you find items that's assigned for you 

5) Marble run when we had to make the tallest most longest                                               track ever     

6) Math Games play a math games

                                          

7) Battle ships play a game of battle ships

                               

8) Math worksheets when we do worksheets

                          

We were asked to copy the pizza using the squares provided

How to play?   Click the mouse and a block will drop if 3 blocks didn't land on the stack of other blocks then its game over. 
We were asked to play a math games and i decided to play Tower blocks


I also did chalk but I couldn't take a pic cos there was no I pads


I was Absent the other 2 days so I didn't get a chance to do the rest of the activates.

WALT: Sort data into categories

Wiremu is allowed to choose a pet for his birthday. He decides to find out what pets his classmates have.
He gives each classmate a blank data card, asks them to list any pets they have, and collects the cards.
With a classmate, discuss Wiremu’s data. Which information is necessary? Which information is unnecessary?

Personal Reflection:
I've done well with my organising with my sheet and finding out whats hard to interpret.
i need to work on finding the right way to work out the mean from data.

Hello there My name is detective Sausage, a level 4 detective partnered with Nicole ward also a level 4 detective. me and Nicole have seen nothing like this crime the date happened was the 29th of April 2018. I observed the scene at 21:20 Monday 30th of April 2018 the day after it happened. the place of crime was at kaiapoi north school in Tiwai, the creative cave.

My evidence was phenomenal. there were white floury hands on a top cupboard at the other end of the fish tank. By the rooms 18 and 19 doors there was a glass with pink red lipstick on the rim so my guess is that they drank maybe they water. On the closest table to the glass there was an orange vest, would have checked for a name but I couldn't. And someones been to hong kong because there was a coin on the same table as the vest. A sand coloured had with a black strip around the middle sitting on the floor right next to the coin and vest. On another table was a very gross lift bottle, thinking it was empty by a snapped ruler. Right next to that was a fallen chair with a note saying " Ha Ha Payback for anoying me ". The most outragious thing was the fish tank that belonged to Miss T was gone as soon as I saw this I thausht to myself somethings fishy around here! Some stones and a plant was the last remaining peices of it. A red water bottle that people won at cross country was becide the remaining parts of the fish. A muddy footpring that Nicole thinks is a converse. There was blue paint withletters saying "Rea". And a peice of paper with fingerprints! There was a white hand on a black wall next to a muddy footprint on a desk. By the white floury white hands on the top cupboard was a red Nescafe cup with some black tea in it. Fingerprints on the TV witch the teachers may have touched or the criminal? there was also paper on the floor

My top suspect is Miss bayless because she always weres lipstick and she has that hat (i think). She wheres converse that the footprint mach.

the 2 positives for me would be the maths rotactions have changed and the crime sciene was interesting and this week i need to work on my involement because i have not been involved in much as in putting my hand up or saying something in my group

This week we got back to school from the holidays and saw there was a crime
scene in our Creative Cave. On investigation, we found that Miss Turner’s fish tank had been stolen!

I arrived at school and I had a huge question what happened well miss t fish tank was gone and it only had a few pebbles left on the counter and a plant even fingerprints it was someone who knows the sicuraty camera code to turn off.
