Dear Mr. Hipkins,

I hope you agree on my letter on having air conditioning in our classroom. By the way my name is Sarah Sandford a student at kaiapoi north school.

I bet you are the nicest person anyone will ever meet and I love the way you take other people's opinions.

It's too stuffy in the classroom and I don’t want to put up with sweat dripping off my forehead like rain anymore. I'm itching like feathers are dancing on me.

Won’t it be easier to learn in coldness rather than heat?

Great because we played the ukulele playing to Havana and i got this felling the songs 
What challenged me over the last week and why?
The spelling and maths tests because I didn't get enough time to do my maths and I don't know much of my spelling words
How did I overcome these challenges or what do I need to do to
overcome them in the future?
Practise and more practising so I can do better
What is my personal goal for next week?
To finish all my work in quality and in time

All about me

Who is in my family/whanau?
My Mum (41), Dad (42), 2 brother's Dylan (10) and Tyler (6), Me (11).

What are my favourite things to do in my own time?
Play with my pets called Milo (cat), Penny (dog), Suggy (guinnea pig), Elsea (bird).


What do you like to do at school?
Arts and crafts is my favourite subject other than playtime. 

What would I like to improve and make progress with this year?
Maths as I need more help to answer questions

What helps you learn?
Surprisingly sitting with friends otherwise I feel lonely.

What stops you learning?
Sitting next to a group of talking people or being alone.

Who are my friends at school?
Brooke, Laura, Maddie

What was the best part of the holidays?
Spending more time with Dad. We hung out a lot.

I am proud of my ball about me that includes my beautiful drawings about me and my instagram writing although it is not done yet.

Making new connections with others and my confidence and to get tokens.

To not be shy and be confident and do the right thing and not muck around.
What is my personal goal for next week?
My personal goal is to be quicker at doing my work so I don't need to catchup.
